Flexibility to combine fixed and opening sections.
Windows and Doors / Product Guide
Aluminium Windows and Doors
Practical opening configurations, from casement windows to sliding terrace doors.
Supply and installation begin with a site survey and written specifications tailored to your project.
01 / Understand the System
Details to consider before you choose.
Aluminium windows and doors combine profiles, hardware, seals and glazing selected for the dimensions and intended use. Sliding and hinged systems have different characteristics, as do thermally broken and non-thermally-broken systems.
The catalogue includes Tango and Jumbo sliding systems and Sonata hinged systems for consideration. The quotation must state the actual series and specifications. Do not assume every system suits every opening or that all systems offer the same insulation performance.
Benefits and Applications
Operating options for indoor and outdoor spaces.
A range of finishes and colours based on approved samples.
Coordinate windows and doors with the façade design.

Sliding terrace door
Review the threshold, clear passage width, movement path, overlapping leaves and drainage before installation.
Casement window
Determine the opening direction, sash size limits and hardware based on weight, allowing adequate swing space.
Fixed glazing with an opening section
Balance daylight and ventilation. Review mullions, glazing areas and safety arrangements.
03 / From Preparation to Handover
Clear steps from the start.
Before Installation
- Approve final dimensions, profiles and glazing divisions on the drawings.
- Assess the wall condition, fixing method and perimeter sealing around the frame.
- Review exposure to rain, wind and the surrounding environment.
- Confirm the type of safety glazing wherever required by the design and applicable requirements.
At Handover
- Check sliding or hinge movement, locks and handles.
- Inspect seals, perimeter sealing, finish and drainage openings.
- Receive system details, maintenance instructions and information on compatible spare parts.
Dimensions, materials, models, performance limits, installation scope, timeframe, warranty and maintenance terms are defined in the approved quotation. This guide is general guidance and does not replace the installed product’s documentation or a technical site survey.
04 / After Installation
Use it correctly. Care for it simply.
Every Day
Handling and Operation
- Move the sash using its handle. Do not force it or hang weights from it.
- Keep tracks clear of gravel, sand and finishing debris.
- Do not force the lock closed when the sash is misaligned.
As Needed
How to Clean
- Use a soft cloth, water and a mild cleaner compatible with the coating.
- Gently clean tracks and thresholds, then dry the surfaces.
- Increase checks as needed for dust and salt exposure, following the finish-care instructions.
Protect the System
What to Avoid
- Do not use acidic cement removers or metal scraping tools.
- Do not block drainage outlets or drill profiles to add hardware without a technical review.
- Do not lubricate rollers or hinges with an unapproved product.
Do Not Ignore These Signs
When to Request Maintenance
- A dropped or heavy sash, worn rollers or unusual noise.
- Recurring water leaks or damaged seals.
- Peeling coating, a loose hinge or lock, or cracked glass.
Agree inspection and cleaning intervals with the technician based on the manufacturer’s instructions, usage, dust and humidity. Electrical work, dismantling loaded components and work at height require a qualified professional. Do not attempt these repairs yourself.
05 / Frequently Asked Questions
Before you decide.
Does aluminium provide thermal insulation?
Performance depends on the profile design, thermal break, glazing and installation. If insulation is a requirement, request performance documentation for the specified system.
Can the opening style be changed later?
This may require replacement of the frame or entire system. A site assessment is needed before confirming that a conversion is possible.
