01 / Understand the System
Details to consider before you choose.
A shower enclosure combines glass panels with hardware or profiles and seals, designed around the bathroom layout and shower area. It may be hinged, sliding or an open fixed panel, depending on the space and system.
Safety-glass type, thickness and fixing positions are determined by the system, dimensions and safety requirements. An enclosure helps contain splashes, but does not replace bathroom-floor waterproofing and drainage falls. An open design does not prevent all water from escaping.

- Take measurements after tile finishes and floor levels have been approved.
- Review wall alignment, falls, drainage and waterproofing.
- Locate pipe routes before drilling and identify suitable fixing points.
- Approve glass type, opening style, clearances and details.
At Handover
- Inspect the glass, edges, hinges, handles and rollers.
- Test movement and sealing after the specified material-curing time has elapsed.
- Explain cleaning, usage limits and when showering can begin based on the installation materials.

04 / After Installation

Handling and Operation
- Move the door gently using its handle and do not let it strike the wall.
- Do not hang from the door or use it as a support for balance.
- Stop using the enclosure if the glass cracks or an edge becomes damaged.
As Needed
How to Clean
- After use, remove water with a soft squeegee and dry the hardware.
- Use a cleaner compatible with the glass, any coating and the enclosure metals.
- For limescale, choose a manufacturer-approved product. Test in an inconspicuous area, then rinse and dry as directed.
Protect the System
What to Avoid
- Do not use abrasive pads, blades or unapproved acidic cleaners.
- Do not adjust hinges or remove rollers while the glass remains suspended.
- Do not mix cleaning products or direct very hot water onto a cold surface.

When to Request Maintenance
- Any crack, deep scratch or chip at a glass edge.
- A dropped door, difficult sliding movement or loose hardware.
- Damaged seals or silicone, or unusual leakage after use.
Agree inspection and cleaning intervals with the technician based on the manufacturer’s instructions, usage, dust and humidity. Electrical work, dismantling loaded components and work at height require a qualified professional. Do not attempt these repairs yourself.

Should measurements be taken before tiling?
The concept can be reviewed before tiling, but final manufacturing dimensions depend on the approved finishes and levels.
Can I use vinegar to remove limescale?
Not as a general recommendation. It can damage some coatings, metals or adjacent stone. Use only products allowed by the material-care instructions.
